DIANNE LYNNE TAM

Faith, Purpose, Encouragement
About Dianne
I am Dianne Lynne Tam—an ordained itinerant elder, author, devotional teacher, and encourager of God’s people. Through Moment of Devotion, I share practical, Scripture-based messages that inspire you to grow in faith and walk boldly in God’s purpose for your life. My greatest desire is to encourage hearts and help you experience the life-changing power of God’s Word every day.
Faith, Ministry & Calling
I am an ordained itinerant elder in the African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church and serve at St. Stephen AME Zion Church in Asbury Park, New Jersey, under the leadership of Pastor Dr. Quavon Newton. Over the years, I have served in various areas of ministry and discovered a deep passion for teaching, encouraging, and helping others understand and apply the Word of God.

That passion led to Moment of Devotion, my weekly 30-minute devotional teaching, where I share Scripture in a practical and relatable way. My desire is to help others begin their week strengthened, encouraged, and grounded in God's Word.

Through teaching, writing, and ministry, I seek to use the experiences God has brought me through to encourage others in their own journey of faith.
Beyond the Ministry
I hold a B.S. in Computer Science from the City College of New York, an M.S. in Computer Science from Columbia University, and a B.S.N. in Nursing from Fairleigh Dickinson University. My professional journey has included work in technology, education, and healthcare, and I currently serve as an Agile Scrum Master and Program Manager at Comcast.

Beyond ministry and my professional career, family is an important part of my life. I have been blessed with my husband, King F. Tam, and our son, Kenneth. Through every season—family, career, ministry, and life’s challenges—I have seen the faithfulness of God at work.

These experiences have shaped not only who I am, but also how I minister, teach, and write. I believe our everyday experiences can become powerful opportunities to recognize God’s presence and encourage others through His Word.
